I've always used humor and vulnerability to soften the blow. The bottom line is dollar signs. The NRA is just one of many corporate moneymakers that control our government. They as the rest of them put profit in front of lives . Our government caters to the profit makers. We the American people can make a difference. Because we are the voice. If our government will not do something about it. Then we the American people must. By vote, by protest, and by amending legislation.

It has often come down to the US Supreme Court to decide what gun laws are constitutional and which are not - as designed by the US Constitution. I also believe the people of the US should be able to have a say (by popular vote) in matters not involving actual national security.

I was wondering what that smell was! Its' a turd in my pocket! How did it get there? You must've put it there! I guess you must be full of . . . !

But seriously do we really need a semiautomatic rifle to protect our home. Sure if you want a semiautomatic pistol okay I'll settle for that! And if you're not mentally ill and don't have a criminal record sure okay!
